Solar PV Hybrid systems

Hybrid system is a combination of off-grid and on-grid solar systems where the batteries, solar panels and grid are monitored and decision is taken whether to charge/discharge the batteries or connect/disconnect to the grid.

Dependence on grid means that the cost of backup batteries is reduced and system dependence is shared between solar panels, batteries and grid, thus increasing reliability of the system. This also means that dependence on expensive diesel/petrol generators is also not required. These systems are more suitable for domestic and commercial concerns.
